<p>Polaris G52 Back-up Valve Assembly. This is a factory original Polaris replacement back up valve. It has a timer mechanism inside that diverts water out of a jet every 5-10 minutes. This jet acts as a back up, pulling the cleaner out from the pool floor or wall. There is an arrow on one side of the hose barb that should face towards the cleaner. It is designed to go inline on the hose 5-6 feet back from the head of the unit. </p>

If the single side wheel or the front double side wheel is broken completely off at the axle, this is the part you need to fix it. This axle screws down to the frame of the cleaner, and the wheel slides on to the axle portion of this part. The wheel requires 2 bearings.</p>

<p>This Polaris Pressure Relief Valve is threaded on the outside and has a spring inside with a black piece of plastic that keeps it compressed. The spring is Polaris factory set, when the pressure inside the line exceeds the spring tension, the spring opens and relieves the excess pressure. It can be manually adjusted by screwing it in our out of the wall fitting housing. Screwing it all the way in give the Polaris the maximum amount of pressure and speeds it up, unscrewing it will relieve the pressure and slow the cleaner down.</p>

The float arm repair kit makes the perfect replacement part for a broken, cracked, or damaged float arm. As long as it is broken above the sweep hose connection this repair kit will work. If it is broken below you will need to replace the complete frame. To install you will need to evenly cut off the damaged float arm, leaving enough room to glue the replacement part in place.
