Polaris 9450 4-Wheel Drive Polaris robotic cleaner. The 9450 replaces the older 9400 and takes the Polaris robotic cleaners to the next level. The 9450 features some serious upgrades including the ActivMotion Sensor™, a patented automatic trajectory corrector, a 3D sensor that optimizes cleaning and reduces incidences of entangled cables. It gives the cleaner an awareness of how it is positioned in the water so that it can adapt its cleaning pattern. The new 9450 also feature a new 7-day programmable timer, with fully customizable cleaning cycles. The 9450 also includes a NEW lift system. With the touch of a button the cleaner will surface to a desired location and waits for you to grab it, then automatically evacuates water for effortless removal from the pool. The 9450 Sport cleans pools up to 50' in length. It weighs just 16 lbs and includes a new premium, compact transport caddy that can be assembled without tools. This model is backed by a 2 year manufacturers limited warranty.

ActivMotion SensorThe ActivMotion Sensor in the 9400 uses an accelerometer, much like those used in electronic stability control systems in cars, or in smart phone and tablet devices to align the screen vertically or horizontally depending on the angle in which the device is held; the accelerometer automatically senses cleaner position. It measures force to determine 3-dimensional position, such as deep, shallow, horizontal or vertical, and adapts the pool cleaner for maximum cleaning action. The technology also reduces cord tangling and optimizes the pool cleaning path, even vacuuming in reverse down pool walls, resulting in 20 percent faster cleaning. |
