This professional-strength cleaner is designed to meet the needs of commercial cartridge filters. Its highly concentrated formula removes deep-set oils and minerals and is so effective it is recommended by leading filter manufacturers. The reusable solution is ideal for service professionals looking to minimize cost and maximize efficiency.
Normal:1. Obtain a plastic container with lid large enough to accommodate enough liquid to cover the filter. Prepare enough solution to completely immerse filter. The required amount of Filtertrine Pro should be added to water, not water to Filtertrine Pro. Prepare a solution of Filtertrine Pro by mixing 1 part of Filtertrine Pro into 4 parts fresh water. 2. Place the filter in the prepared solution, cover and allow to soak 12 to 24 hours. Heavily soiled filters should be allowed to soak for 24 hours. Mechanical agitation of the cleaning solution while the cartridge is soaking will reduce cleaning time and improve end result. 3. Remove filter and rinse thoroughly from top to bottom. Flush water between both inner and outer pleats. Note: if foaming persists during rinsing, place filter in fresh water with a small amount of No Foam and let set for 5 minutes. Repeat rinsing process. 4. Drain and rinse all debris from filter tank and reinstall filter according to manufacturer's directions.
Filtertrine Pro is reusable! It can be used to clean several cartridges before being disposed of. It is suggested that a quantity of fresh Filtertrine Pro equivalent to 10-20% of the original amount of Filtertrine Pro be added to the old solution before each use. This will replenish any lost cleaning ability form previous cleanings. For example, if the original solution used 5 gallons of Filtertrine Pro, add 1/2-1 gallon of Filtertrine Pro to the solution befor
