I wanted a strong net to prevent leaves from going into the pool in the fall, but to allow water through. I've had this net on for about 2 months and it is doing the job well. I had to also get some large beach balls to float under the net so the net would not touch the water. This allows the leaves to blow off by themselves. Without this, they were staying in the water and deteriorating.
