Natural Chemistry 05251 5 Gallon PHOSfree is a lanthanum based formula quickly reduces very high phosphate levels. Natural lanthanum compounds convert soluble phosphates to insoluble lanthanum-phosphate which cannot be utilized by algae and can be removed through filtration. It is the only patented formula that removes phosphates from the filter.
