Polaris 9550 4WD Sport Robotic Pool Cleaner with Remote

I have had nothing but positive things to say for the 9300xi. Cleaning its filter is simple thanks to the hard mesh filter instead of a bag. The two cleaning cycles, quick and deep clean cycles do a very good job of getting the entire pool cleaned. My only complaint is the inability to clean stairs very well but I assume all robots would have the same problem. I have a full length stair in one end and the 9300xi simply cant navigate them.

Got my 9300xi very quickly from poolzoom. Cleaner works great, the remote control is handy but is not as responsive as I would like. The rebate took a bit of time from the mfg but it finally came. I like the 9300xi, save a lot of time. I still have to vacuum occasionally. The filter basket goes down to 100 microns, could be better. The pro is that its super easy to clean, so i guess its a good trade off. *UPDATE* there is a sand and silt filter that goes down to 60 microns which is sufficient for Texas debris.

I read the reviews before purchasing. I am not impressed. This thing picks up bigger debris like leaves & twigs. However, this thing is absolutely terrible when it comes to picking up dirt & algae. It just sucks it up and spits it back out the exhaust, making your pool foggy.

I have only had it a week. It is very user friendly. I learn something every time out It is easy to clean and put away. Does not collect all big leaves but the remote makes it easy enough to go back and get them. So far very good on small particles and dog hair. I never even knew I had that much dog hair in the pool. Poolzoom was not only the best price on the internet but there customer service was helpful and professional

Absolutely love my "little man" robot pool cleaner. I wore out a 9300 and replaced with this beauty.

Does not climb the wall all the way when set on floor and walls setting. Have to set it to walls only to get it to climb the walls all the way to the water line. As it comes across the floor and starts to climb the walls the front wheels start up the wall but as soon as back wheels leave the floor and bounce against the wall to start climbing the jar of the bounce trips the internal sensor I guess and it puts it in reverse. I don't know if I am the only one with this issue. Info from manufacturer on this problem would be interesting.

The 9550 sport works well however in the two years I have owned it I have had to buy three replacement baskets because the filter fabric separates from the frame causing debri to leak back into the pool. When not leaking it works great and the fine filter basket will collect fine silt and algae. I hope they upgrade the basket or provide free replacements.
