SkimPro SP-B Pool Skimmer Basket. The SP-B fits Baker-Hydro Skimmers. This is a deep skimmer with a clear dish "control" plate that fits on top of the basket area. The control plate is removed when using the SkimPro basket.

We have an old pool and looked everywhere for new baskets! When we found these we knew they were just like our old ones, and they were! Thank you Pool Zoom.
fits perfect ,well made it would be nice if you could just buy the tower part.
It's just a skimmer basket but it is great for what it is. I love the long handle. I used to have get on my knees and reach down into the water almost to my elbow to get the basket. Not anymore. The top of the handle comes up to the level of the water.
This is the second one of these I have purchased. The old one finally succumbed to too many leaves and even with the vent, the bottom fractured from excess skimmer suction. So you still need to check/clean this unit periodically. It is still a much better solution than a standard basket if you have considerable amounts of airborne debris land in your pool (I have tons of trees and so do my neighbors).

I’ve used this type of basket for many years and are the best that I’ve used. Actually I have 4 of them and rotate 2 about every week. It’s much easier to empty them out if the leaves etc dry out. Also I’d rinse the chlorine out and place them in shade and they’ll last much longer. Can’t beat the price from poolzoom.
