Product Overview
Vari-Flo Control Valve Functions:
Filter - Used 99.99% of the time. Used for normal filtering.
Backwash - Used for cleaning the filter sand bed of accumulated debris. Water goes in reverse through the filter and out the waster port.
Rince - Used after completing the backwash cycle to ensure all dirty water is rinsed out of the filter to waste.
Waste - Water is passed through the valve to the waster port, by-passes the filter. Can be used for lowering pool water level, and for vacuuming heavy debris directly out the waste line
Recirculate - Water is recirculated through the valve and back to the pool, by-passing the filter tank
Closed - Closes the valve so no water can go through it.
Winter - Used to winterize
