How to Apply the Cool Pool Deck Coating

1. Clean the surface. Remove dirt, oil, and algae. We recommend Encore TripleCrown One-Step Concrete Cleaner for best prep results.
2. Repair cracks. Patch hairline and deeper cracks in the pool deck before coating.
3. Apply the first coat. Roll, brush, or spray the Cool Pool Deck Coating in a thin, even layer. Surface temp should be 50–95°F with no rain expected within 24 hours.
4. Wait the recommended cure time per the product data sheet before the second coat.
5. Apply the second coat to complete full 200 sq ft coverage and achieve the slip-resistant texture.
6. Cure and enjoy. Allow full cure before heavy foot traffic.
