What is WEF ?

Thia is a nice pump but when running at full speed the motor is very noisy and can be heard all over my deck area and is very intrusive. I replaced an old Hayward pump that had been rebuilt two times and the motor was super quiet compared to this one. Since I have the new one installed and had to make a modification to the plumbing, I will probably keep this one and try to put insulation around it to cut down the noise. I have tried to lower the speed and that lessens the noise but does not move enough water. Not sure I will remain a Hayward customer in the future.
