Very sturdy basket after my old ones fell apart
This is the best skimmer basket so far! Our last two were so flimsy and broke when too many leaves got in them. This skimmer is heavy duty and weighted at the bottom and fits perfectly!
If you are looking for the strongest hard plastic basket you can find, you have come to the right place. I bang mine hard on the fence and on the edge of 5 gallon bucket to empty them and have been doing so forever. The bucket will break long before these baskets do. You have to be super careful with other baskets because they will literally bend in your hand. Do yourself a favor, pay the little extra money that these cost because they will last you a very long time while you go through a half dozen or more of the other ones. I know, I've done it because I found out about these through a friend and he only gave me one. In this case, you get what you pay for and a lot more.
