The Hayward SPX1420A1 Eyeball Jet Rubber Flow Director is designed to help direct the flow of water from your pool's return jets. Here are the general steps for installing and using this product:
Turn off the pool pump and wait for the water to stop flowing before attempting to install the Eyeball Jet Rubber Flow Director.
Remove the existing 1" eyeball fitting by loosening the locking ring from the return jet.
Insert the Hayward SPX1420A1 Eyeball Jet Rubber Flow Director into the return jet fitting form behind. Pop it into place.
Reinstall the eyeball fitting back in the pool wall. Tighten the locking ring on the flow director to secure it in place.
Adjust the flow director to direct the flow of water in the desired direction. You can rotate the eyeball to change the direction of the water flow, or adjust the angle of the flow director to change the height and distance of the water flow.
Turn the pool pump back on and observe the water flow to ensure that it is flowing in the desired direction.
