Love, love, love this pole. I bought one that extends to 12 ft and use it for a fine mesh skimmer net. This one extends to 16 ft and it's perfect for my pool brush. I'm spoiled now - won't ever go back to the old compression fit poles. These lock in place with a pin and lever. Awesome, awesome, awesome! I keep them hung on the wall beside the pool and use them frequently.
