Please Note:
DEL and CV models will require plumbing modifications. On DEL DE filters the drain is moved to the side from the back of the tank and the plumbing unions must be replaced due to different bulkhead fittings. DEL filters also require the replacement of the multiport valve as the union threads are different. (see notes below)
For replacement on CV cartridge models with the inlet on one side and the outlet on the other, you must replumb to bring the inlet and the outlet both to the front of the tank; inlet to the bottom port, and outlet to the top port. This tank bottom comes with unions for the connections to make the required changes.

All around great experience. Did need to reuse the old large O-ring as the new one was round, but needed one side flat for clamp securing top to bottom to fit.
If you are just replacing the bottom (or the top for that matter) be aware the existing bottom or top may not fit the new one. This is just what I’m experiencing right now. My existing top(only a couple of years old) will not properly seat on the new bottom. My guess is the existing top has deformed over time-in my case shrunk. Now I’m looking at buying a new top with the hope that it will fit the new bottom. Just FYI the existing top and existing bottom fit like a glove.
My original tank was leaking through a tiny hole in the bottom. If you have ever replaced a filter grid, you can do this. It took me less than 30 minutes and my leak is gone!
The part came as described with great packing and great turn around time.
The part was in perfect condition. The problem came from trying to reuse the 20 year old fiberglass top. They are not exactly complatable. The clamp does not fit the new/old combo. Was in a time crunch so bought a new unit local.
I needed to remove and replace plumbing connections (supplied w/tank) connecting to system.
This was my first time to order from PoolZoom. Excellent service as my tank bottom was delivered in 3 days as promised. All the parts fit perfect and the alignment was exactly as my old tank, but as mentioned in other reviews, there was a bit of a problem fitting the old top to the new bottom. I used my old tank gasket and covered it in Vaseline, then slowly worked the clamp around the tank. It fit and no leaks. So, I am very happy with the PoolZoom product.
Filter was the one needed and we got it 2 days earlier than the shipping stated.
