If you let a pool valve leak over the top of your pool motor for a couple years, the results are not good. The gasket to fix the value averages out to be about $1. The pool motor a bit more. I replaced an existing B130 dead motor with the Century B130 motor from PoolZoom which had the best pricing. Packing of the motor was from the factory was good. Be sure to get a gasket rebuilt kit when opening up a pump to replace the motor. Motor connections are flag connectors so be sure to have replacements if the existing connectors have issues. You can get by without the special flag connector crimpers if needed. This application was a Hayward Super II pump so everything worked perfect. Now with the pump working I get to fix leaks. The fun never stops.
