<p>Polaris G52 Back-up Valve Assembly. This is a factory original Polaris replacement back up valve. It has a timer mechanism inside that diverts water out of a jet every 5-10 minutes. This jet acts as a back up, pulling the cleaner out from the pool floor or wall. There is an arrow on one side of the hose barb that should face towards the cleaner. It is designed to go inline on the hose 5-6 feet back from the head of the unit. </p>

<p>Polaris K13 280 All-Purpose Bag with Zipper Closure. The bottom measures 3” in diameter and has two "dog-ear" clips with oval shapes on the end of them. The plastic zipper design closes the back of the back. This feature makes the bag extremely easy to clean because debris does not get stuck in it on its way out. The older velcro style will tend to grip dirt, sand, and other small debris, making the closure weaker each time you open and empty the filter bag. Cleaning the new zipper bag is now easier, cleaner and doesn't compromise the closure. </p>

If left unattended the drive shaft will strip the gears on the inside of the wheel. Each wheel requires 2 bearings, 8 total for the cleaner.</p>

If the single side wheel or the front double side wheel is broken completely off at the axle, this is the part you need to fix it. This axle screws down to the frame of the cleaner, and the wheel slides on to the axle portion of this part. The wheel requires 2 bearings.</p>

<p>Polaris Wheel Screw is a good replacement for broken and missing wheel screws. It is to be used to fasten the larger and smaller wheels on the Polaris 180 and 280 Pool cleaners only.</p>

<p>This Polaris Pressure Relief Valve is threaded on the outside and has a spring inside with a black piece of plastic that keeps it compressed. The spring is Polaris factory set, when the pressure inside the line exceeds the spring tension, the spring opens and relieves the excess pressure. It can be manually adjusted by screwing it in our out of the wall fitting housing. Screwing it all the way in give the Polaris the maximum amount of pressure and speeds it up, unscrewing it will relieve the pressure and slow the cleaner down.</p>
